Tourism Whitsundays Marketing Manager Donna van ‘t Hoff along with 20 Whitsundays operators travelled to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney promoting the Whitsundays message as part of the 2019 Whitsundays East Coast Roadshow. The Roadshow is a great platform for educating the travel trade network on all the available product and experiences we have in the Whitsundays region. Each year the Whitsundays East Coast Roadshow continues to grow and include more exciting products and operators which in turn helps our Whitsundays voice in the important trade sector become louder. The success of this event each year would not be possible each year without the support and involvement of our Whitsundays operators.
It’s been an exciting week for the Rotary Club Airlie Beach Inc, after more than 18 months of planning, the members of the Rotary Club of Airlie Beach Inc with the support of Whitsunday Regional Council saw work commence on Stage 1 of the Club’s Heritage Walk. This walk will highlight two key historical features along the Bicentennial Walkway, and assist tourists and locals alike to understand and appreciate more about the area’s history.
